We use only the best quality ingredients to go into our DemonKid creations; acrylics, stains, oils, special effects, lacquers and varnish, professional quality doll "extras", sealants and pure unadulterated imagination go into each and every one of the kidlets...so that you may be positive you are receiving a One-Of-A-Kind, unique Creation. Please always remember that the DemonKidz are handmade and may have special "additions" to them...a occasional fingerprint from the Artist. Variations in color/etc that make them unique to that Kid; not suitable for rough-and-tumble play, but extremely interactive due to their sturdiness...they are GROWN - UP toys, for display or collectible purposes only. They do Love HUGS and CUDDLES though! It will also come hand signed on the "bum" or neck and dated with the date of doll completion.
We are currently infatuated with genuine antique clothing for the wee ones...be prepared if you receive one of these darling darklings clad in antique clothing, it is from days-gone-by... If real baby or dollie HAS worn these clothes before, and some variations may be visible; small light stains from age or slight fraying of hems... I will NOT fix these..that is a part of the charm!
Each doll is hand dyed and painted and has a mix of over ten different colors stages and types of staining depending on character's needs. I am able to construct all vinyl dolls with posable arms, legs and heads to soft bodied dolls which are weighted and "floppy", which I have been doing as a fun thing since 2002. Most dolls are not gender specific: some though, if I am able to procure them, are anatomically correct, but do have an increased pricing on them, which varies as per the cost of procuring the base doll. Time frame can vary as well, as anatomically correct bodies are often hard to come by.
Photos will be sent to you by email at each stage of the creation process: from naked base doll to hair, to different stages of painting and coloring to the final photo shoot on completion. I try to stay as close in contact with the "adoptive parent" as possible, as I know when you are having something speciallyid= made it is a very anxious wait, indeed!
